Plains Teen Driver's Education
Pricing
The cost for both the six hour
Behind-The-Wheel and 30 hours of classroom is $350.00. If you
have a group of three or more the cost is $300.00 per group members.
There are fees for missed driving lessons and classes (see
restrictions). There is also a $50.00 Auto Fuel Charge, which should be paid with the second driving lesson.
We offer private driving
lesson for anyone who may want to get ready for the road test at
$65.00 per one and a half (1 1/2) hours.

Behind the
Wheel (BTW) Lessons: Driving
Instruction: During each driving lesson, each student will drive and will also observe a fellow student's driving lesson. Families are only paying for the actual time
that their youth is behind the wheel. The observation
lessons are free, and required for repetition. Private
lessons are available (without a partner) for an additional
$20.00 per hour, per week. The BTW is part of the complete course
with the classroom segment and is not an additional fee.
The car has a special break, signs and mirrors to meet the D.O.T. certifications and is provided for lessons.

Registration
Call 220-3210 to set
up an appointment at our office located at 91-660 Pohakupuna
Road. Registration appointments will be held Monday through Friday from 8am - 11am or
after 1pm. Register
at: 91-660 Pohakupuna Road- Ewa Plains Enrichment Programs at
the Ewa United Methodist Church property
Saturday
or Sunday registration can be done by appointment if requested.
Print out the Classroom
Requirements and Behind the
Wheel Course Agreement and bring them with you to
registration. Also, print out the Boys
& Girls Club Application, fill it out, and bring it
with you to registration.
Payment is due at
registration. You may either pay the full price of $350 at
registration, or $175 at registration and $175 2 weeks later.
Registration
and payment must be done in advance, space is limited therefore,
no refunds are given. Payment plans are available per
written agreement.
Classes held at:
Ewa Beach
Boys and Girls Club on Fort Weaver Road. We provide
transportation from the Boys and Girls Club if classes are held
at our office, located at 91-660 Pohakupuna Road.
Agreements
and Restrictions:
NO ABSENCES,
NO TARDIES to keep the exact fee for the course.
You will be
charged $25.00 for EACH missed class and $45.00 for EACH missed
driving lesson. If you miss more than two classes you must
repeat the course and pay the full fee. We humbly ask
that you come to class, we promise to be there!
A parent
must meet the instructor and sign the contract.
The one
or one and a half hours driving lessons will be done over 4 to 6
weeks. Receive both the classroom and driving certificates
no earlier than the 6th week.
** Class schedule may
vary when Monday is a State or Federal Holiday. Behind the
wheel course may vary if students cannot meet the driving task.
Students will have one year to complete their course, even if they
need to repeat the class for flunking, sorry no refunds.
